The Reform Muli S series
The new models of the S series are going to complete the Muli range from Reform Werke. The T8 and T9 models are each replaced by their successor models T8 S and T9 S, respectively. The tried and tested models T5, T6 and T7 will of course remain available. At the high end, the range will be completed by the new T7 S.
Muli T7 S and T8 S
These two models have now new, stronger engines. The common rail turbocharged diesel engine with electronic injection – 4 cylinder 4 stroke diesel, VM-R754 IE3, 74 kW / 101 hp / 340 Nm – comes with intercooling and direct injection.
Both the T7 S and the T8 S reach their full starting torque just shortly above idling speed. The T7 S comes optionally with front axle suspension, which provides a softer ride on the road, protects the driver and the chassis, and delivers better grip on slopes. The mechanical speed change gearbox of the two Mulis has a forced feed lubrication. And the electronic accelerator pedal has a PTO mode.
This PTO mode allows pre-setting the engine speed for PTO operation. This means, now you can select a precise engine speed just by flipping a switch in both the Muli T7 S and T8 S. Moreover, this engine speed can be incremented up and down as you need it.
Not only engine output, also the effectivity of the brake system has been markedly increased in both models. The brake discs have been enlarged, and both models now can optionally be delivered with a retarder brake system, which enables completely wear-free speed reduction of the vehicle. Also, the drive train and the chassis have been reinforced in both the T7 S and T8 S. The higher portals provide a larger ground clearance. The wheelbase has been increased by 30 mm, making the Muli even better on slopes. The mounting points for the various attachments remain unchanged. There are also some new technical morsels in the cab as well, like an integrated 3-point seat belt and a height and angle adjustable steering column.
Muli T9 S
It goes without saying that all the new features and improvements in the T7 S and T8 S series, such as the electronic accelerator pedal, higher braking effect, larger ground clearance, etc., were also implemented in the Muli T9 S. Like the other models of the S series, the T9 S is available with a new, stronger engine now. A common rail turbocharged diesel engine with electronic injection, the VM-R754 EU5, 72 kW (98 hp / 340 Nm) with turbocharger, intercooling and direct injection also features a diesel particulate filter, making the T9 S a genuine "friend of the environment".
