Type HERA 18-10-9, Coord3
The 3D measuring device is located in an air conditioned room.
For measuring, we use a PH10T probe made by Renishaw with indexable head. The swivel range in the horizontal plane is ±180° and 0 to 105° in the vertical plane. The probe can be indexed in 7.5° steps in both directions. The probe allows a maximal extension of 250 mm. Thus the measuring insert and probe tip achieve a maximum penetration depth of 325 mm. For the measuring volume, the probe length must be subtracted that is necessary, e.g., for measurements on housings.
The following elements are measured and/or computed:
Point, line, circle, plane, long hole, rectangle, ellipse, cylinder, cone, sphere
Additional computations can be performed, such as:
Hole circle, cross section, projection, symmetry, position (coaxiality). The measurements are output with the pertaining cartesian and polar coordinates, and angle specification if required. In all elements, except in points, an infinite number of 100 measuring points can be scanned for computation. If the minimum number of points is exceeded, a defect of form can be output for an element.
For more than 3 to 5 identical housings (depending on the number of elements) it is advisable to create a programme for the CNC measuring operation.
